Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Highes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Lombardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Highes's entrance music is Skynyrd's Simple Man. A fine choice. Lombardi has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Vincent Lombardi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Highes fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lombardi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lombardi looks gassed!
Nice cross by Highes.
Highes lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Lombardi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Highes.
Highes misses with a double jab.
Highes shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lombardi's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Highes is looking to work some ground and pound but Lombardi has wrist control.
Highes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
