And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, John Mangel and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloucher closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lachida circles away.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Sloucher has eaten all the pies!
Lachida fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lachida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lachida pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sloucher blocks a head kick by Lachida.

Sloucher decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lachida tries to kick Sloucher off but Sloucher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Sloucher is taking a breather. Lachida says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lachida is trying to stand up here but Sloucher is controlling him well.
Sloucher is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Sloucher is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lachida sees it coming and defends easily.
Lachida tries to kick Sloucher off but Sloucher keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Lachida manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Sloucher fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lachida pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Sloucher scores with a takedown into Lachida's guard.

Lachida wriggles free and stands up.
Lachida slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Sloucher closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lachida quickly recovers to half guard.
Lachida wants to get back to his feet.
Lachida is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sloucher stalling.
Lachida is trying to stand back up but Sloucher is controlling him
Sloucher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lachida keeps working.

Qym Sloucher has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Sloucher moves out of range as Lachida throws a body kick.
Sloucher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lachida pinned against the cage. Lachida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Myoto Lachida has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Qym Sloucher.
Lachida lands a nice shot to the body.

Lachida lands a big head kick that sends Sloucher tumbling to the mat! Lachida takes a step backwards and waves Sloucher back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sloucher is rocked!

It looks like Qym Sloucher has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lachida throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sloucher is still on wobbly legs! Can Lachida finish him?
Lachida connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Sloucher out cold! This one is over in a flash!
