Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Tut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tut closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reynolds circles away.
Tut is trying hard to land a takedown here. Reynolds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King Tut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tut gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Reynolds wanted to stand there but Tut had control of the position.
Tut looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Reynolds stands and steps away. Tut gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Tut gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Reynolds counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Tut!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Tut. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Reynolds tries to stand up but Tut had a hold of his arm and he's managed to perform a nice reversal, into half guard.

Reynolds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tut. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tut not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tut is keen to just control but Reynolds is a slippery customer.
Tut thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Tut prevents Reynolds from standing back up.
Reynolds is refusing to be controlled, as Tut sits in half guard.
Reynolds should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Tut is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Tut wants to pass to mount but Reynolds is defending the position.

Tut is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reynolds is just riding it out for now. Tut eventually gives up the hold.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Reynolds can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tut seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Reynolds does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tut is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Reynolds is just riding it out for now. Tut eventually gives up the hold.
Reynolds is not content to let Tut control the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tut is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Reynolds keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tut passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Reynolds!

Reynolds bucks up and throws Tut to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Scott Reynolds dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Tut misses with a takedown

and Reynolds counters with a shoot takedown. Tut fights it but they end up in guard.
Reynolds trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tut's guard.

Tut is looking for a triangle but Reynolds pushes his legs off easily.
Reynolds tries to stand but Tut is controlling from the bottom.
Reynolds wants to stand and escape but instead Tut has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Tut drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tut jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tut wants to control from the top but Reynolds keeps moving.

Tut drops back looking for a leg! Reynolds is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Reynolds manages to kick Tut off! Tut jumps back into Reynolds's guard.
Tut trying to control but Reynolds is working from the bottom.
Tut stops Reynolds from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Reynolds utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Tut throws a big right hand that misses.
Tut wants to pass the guard but Reynolds is keeping the position.
Tut loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Reynolds is looking to stand up but Tut isn't so interested in that idea.
Tut trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tut stops Reynolds from standing up.
Tut trying to control but Reynolds is working from the bottom.
Tut is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Reynolds is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of King Tut.

Tut scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

That was a close second round but I would say that King Tut will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Tut with a lazy takedown attempt

and Reynolds decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Tut's guard.
Reynolds would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Reynolds is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Reynolds wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Tut's closed guard. He's half up but Tut has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Tut pivots and extends the arm, Reynolds falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Tut! Well done that man!
