Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raul Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzalez drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Check out the look on Gonzalez's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Richards takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Richards is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Gonzalez is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gonzalez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Richards down.

Gonzalez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gonzalez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Gonzalez has an Americana. Richards didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Gonzalez is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Gonzalez hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
