Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Stoner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Atom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoner comes to the cage accompanied by Battle Hymn. Atom has chosen Manian - Loco as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Stoner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Adam Atom!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stoner connects with a good right hand that stumbles Atom. Atom circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Adam Atom has been cut.
Stoner throws a series of punches but Atom moves out of range.
Atom throws a looping overhand right but Stoner ducks down to avoid it.
Stoner misses with an uppercut.
Stoner throws a right and a left that Atom avoids nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Atom, as that shot connected.
Stoner lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Stoner.
Stoner throws a series of punches but Atom avoids them all with ease.

Atom clinches up with Stoner and pushes him back against the cage.
Atom lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Stoner blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Stoner is trying to break the clinch but Atom is controlling him.
A head punch on the inside from Atom fails to land.
Atom misses with a punch on the inside.
Atom keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Stoner's efforts to push away.

Stoner breaks the clinch.
Stoner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stoner misses with a wild combination.
Stoner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Atom moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Atom misses the jab.
Stoner lands with a right hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Atom thuds his right hand into Stoner's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Stoner misses with a looping right.

Atom instigates a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A short right from Atom on the inside.
Atom fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Atom tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Stoner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stoner throws a right and a left that Atom avoids nicely.

Atom looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Stoner!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Atom is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stoner can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stoner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Atom on the ground.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Atom is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Stoner on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stoner tries to get out of the position.
Stoner is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Atom misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Atom tries to control but Stoner wriggling away.
Stoner tries to hold on but Atom pushes him away.
BOOM! Atom connects with a massive shot to the dome!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Atom postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Stoner looks a forlorn figure.

Atom has hold of Stoner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Stoner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Atom wants to finish this one by submission but Stoner is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Atom.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Atom cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Atom thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Atom trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stoner is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Stoner is in a horrible position here. Atom smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Stoner is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Atom lands a heavy elbow.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Atom thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Atom lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Stoner hang on?

Stoner is rocked!
Atom loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Stoner scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Atom land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Atom stands and salutes the crowd.
