Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vanderlie Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Dracon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dracon misses with a kick to the body.
Dracon lands with a right hand.

Silva has closed the distance and engaged Dracon in a clinch.
Dracon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dracon has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Silva is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dracon is pressed up against the cage. Silva has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dracon down to the mat. Dracon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Dracon throws a front kick aimed at Silva's knee but Silva avoids it well.
Dracon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Silva avoids it really well and circles away.

Vanderlie Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Amir Dracon.

Amir Dracon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Dracon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dracon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Silva tries to move into range but Dracon moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

It looks like Vanderlie Silva has been cut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dracon.

Silva jumps guard but Dracon stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Amir Dracon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Dracon tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dracon's waist but Dracon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.

Dracon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Dracon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Dracon eventually gives up the hold.
