Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaz Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Casey Silk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayabusa's entrance music is Sandstorm - Darude. A fine choice. Casey Silk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayabusa keeps the fight on the outside.
Hayabusa takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hayabusa shoots in but Silk avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hayabusa tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silk swivels and escapes.
Hayabusa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Silk as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaz Hayabusa. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hayabusa shoots for a double leg takedown but Silk sprawls well. He's pushed Hayabusa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Silk throws a lazy right hand but Hayabusa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Silk shoots in and gets a takedown into Hayabusa's guard.
Hayabusa is trying to control the position but Silk postures up.

Hayabusa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Silk defends well.
Silk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Silk passes Hayabusa's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Silk slips a nice elbow through Hayabusa's hands, connecting with Hayabusa's forehead.
Silk is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Silk seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Silk wants to free his trapped foot but Hayabusa is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Hayabusa has hold of Silk's hands but Silk slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Hayabusa is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Hayabusa is working hard here to advance position.
Silk thows a huge punch but Hayabusa dodges it nicely.
Silk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Hayabusa tries to get to full guard but Silk has control of the leg.
Silk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Silk is working for a kimura but Hayabusa is defending it quite comfortably.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Silk stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Silk thows a left - swing and a miss!
Hayabusa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Silk counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hayabusa is breathing heavily.
Silk with a nice head shot there.
Hayabusa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Silk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Silk wants to stand but Hayabusa is controlling his posture from full guard.

Silk is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hayabusa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Silk is looking to defend but Hayabusa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Silk! Hayabusa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Silk taps out and this one is all over!
