Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Krsto Frankopan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hailong Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krsto Frankopan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frankopan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wang manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Wang is pulling down on Frankopan's head to control his posture.
Frankopan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Wang looks to land a right hand but Frankopan moved out of range.

It looks like Krsto Frankopan has been cut.

Wang throws the left hand but Frankopan avoids the punch easily.
Wang throws a right hand that Frankopan ducks under and follows up with a left that Frankopan also avoids with ease.
Nice defenses there by Frankopan.
Frankopan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Wang throws a right and a left that Frankopan avoids nicely.
Wang pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Wang is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Frankopan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wang but Wang pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Wang misses with a wild body shot.
Wang leaves Frankopan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Krsto Frankopan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Frankopan is breathing heavily.
Frankopan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wang tries to avoid it but Frankopan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wang to the ground. Wang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Wang throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Wang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Frankopan.
Wang scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
A jab from Wang misses.
Wang connects with a good right hand that stumbles Frankopan. Frankopan circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Frankopan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wang lands an overhand right.

Krsto Frankopan's cut is getting worse.
Wang misses the jab.
Wang thows a left - swing and a miss!
Wang lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Wang drops Frankopan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Frankopan looks back up at him and smiles so Wang waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Krsto Frankopan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wang comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Frankopan staying out of range there.

Wang lands a nice shot that snaps Frankopan's head back.

Jeez, Krsto Frankopan's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Krsto Frankopan's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
