The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovas digs a good body shot into James's ribs.
James lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Victor Kovas has been cut.
Kovas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kovas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but James manages to avoid it.
James turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

James throws a shot from downtown. Kovas moves away and avoids it.

Kovas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but James circles away quickly and effectively.
James slips a jab and a cross from Kovas.
Kovas swings for the body but James moves out of range.
Kovas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
James takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kovas scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
James tries to score with a low kick but Kovas moves his leg out of the way.
Kovas throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent James stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kovas lunges at James with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by James's hand.

James takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lebron James's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Kovas moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Jeez, Lebron James's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lebron James's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
