The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Flashlighter bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mortensson's head.
Flashlighter throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Mortensson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Flashlighter as he avoids it easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Flashlighter fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mortensson.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Flashlighter enables Mortensson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Flashlighter manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
