The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodybag lands with a nice body punch.
Bodybag doesn't manage to clinch there - Heines circles away.
Heines circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Heines darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bodybag loads up on a big right hand but Heines slips the punch.
Bodybag walks into a straight right hand from Heines.
Bodybag ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Heines moves away.
Bodybag moves forwards but Heines connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Heines digs a good body shot into Bodybag's ribs.
Bodybag takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Heines scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Bodybag tries to clinch up but Heines circles away and keeps his distance.
Bodybag looks to land a left hand but Heines moved out of range nicely.
Heines blocks a jab.
Bodybag looks to land a combination but Heines avoids it well.
Nice uppercut there from Heines.
Bodybag misses with an uppercut. Heines saw that one coming.
Bodybag moves away from the strike by Heines.
Bodybag takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bodybag throws a big shot that misses.

Bodybag takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Heines cracks Bodybag with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Bodybag gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bodybag on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A slow jab from Heines misses its intended target.
Bodybag is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

A decent looking cross lands there for Heines.
Heines might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Bodybag looks to throw the jab but Heines is out of range.

and Heines cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Heines has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Bodybag tries to clinch but Heines moves out of range.
Oh Bodybag is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Heines is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Bodybag had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Bodybag walks straight into a right hand from Heines - that's dropped him! Heines jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Bodybag from any more punishment! Bodybag complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
