Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Super Slayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones slips a jab from Slayer.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.
A jab lands there for Slayer.
Slayer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Slayer jabs Jones to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jones ducks under a wild hook from Slayer.
Slayer throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Slayer throws an overhand right that lands on Jones's shoulder, as Jones tries to avoid the shot.
Slayer throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Super Slayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A jab from Slayer does it's job there.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slayer looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.
Slayer throws a hook but Jones avoids it easily.
Slayer loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Slayer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones shoots in and drives through. Slayer sprawls well.

Slayer lands a jab to the nose.
Slayer looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range.

Slayer catches Jones napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Jones to the canvas!

Slayer decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Slayer misses with a looping left.
Jones moves in looking to clinch but Slayer pushes him off.
Slayer thows a left - swing and a miss!
Slayer might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Slayer misses with a jab to the body

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Slayer's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Slayer working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Jones.
Jones wants to stand but Slayer has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Slayer managing to control the position.
Slayer is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Slayer is controlling Jones's posture.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Slayer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones stops Slayer from standing up.
Slayer pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.

Slayer looking for a sweep. Not yet Slayer, not yet.

Super Slayer has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Jones staying out of range there.
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slayer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slayer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jones throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slayer's waist but Slayer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jones off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big left from Slayer misses.
Slayer circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Jones to the canvas! Jones doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Slayer keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
