Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Carwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and sd sdf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carwin's entrance music is AC/DC - Shoot to Thrill. A fine choice. sd sdf has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sdf shoots in looking for a takedown. Carwin tries to sprawl out of it but sdf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carwin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Horrible takedown by sdf or perhaps it was just good defense by Carwin which made him look bad.

and sdf counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
sdf is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Carwin wants to stand up but sdf is controlling him.

sdf wants to pass the guard but Carwin is keeping the position.

sdf thows a big elbow that misses.

sdf has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
sdf is standing up over Carwin. Carwin looks to escape but sdf dives into side control.
Carwin might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Carwin is trying to buck sdf off.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Carwin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. sdf did well to prevent Carwin getting side control.
sdf is staying active underneath Carwin, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

sdf has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Carwin. Oh but sdf has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Carwin goes limp - he's gone! sdf jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
