The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush scores with a one two! Dittrich had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Jan Dittrich has been cut.
Rush ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Dittrich misses with a low kick as Rush jumps back.
Dittrich connects with a solid leg kick.
Rush misses with a takedown attempt - Dittrich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fight stays on the outside here - Dittrich looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Dittrich tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rush paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rush seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dittrich for as long as he can get away with.

Rush is just content to waste time from the top position. Dittrich takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Rush bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Rush is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dittrich knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
