Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Burroughs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burroughs kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Simple Man By Shinedown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Jenkins.
Horrible takedown by Burroughs or perhaps it was just good defense by Jenkins which made him look bad.
Burroughs throws a right and a left that both miss.
Jenkins misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Burroughs throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jenkins's waist but Jenkins gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Burroughs off to one side.
Jenkins scores with a jab to the jaw.
Burroughs takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Jenkins thows a body kick. Burroughs tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Jenkins with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Burroughs misses with a takedown attempt - Jenkins sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Burroughs. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Burroughs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jenkins as he jumps to the side.

Jenkins turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Burroughs shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Burroughs gets slowly back to his feet.

Burroughs walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jenkins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jenkins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burroughs's head backwards.
Jenkins displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Burroughs.
