Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micheal Havel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Manny Pacquiao!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Micheal Havel!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pacquiao closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Havel to the mat! Havel manages to get full guard.
Pacquiao pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Havel is keeping the position for now.
Pacquiao won't allow Havel to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pacquiao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Havel is looking to stand up but Pacquiao isn't so interested in that idea.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Havel is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pacquiao is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Manny Pacquiao wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Havel lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Havel.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Manny Pacquiao dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Havel tries to clinch up but Pacquiao circles away and keeps his distance.
Havel's corner calls for a 1-2. Havel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Pacquiao shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Havel pinned against the cage. Havel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Havel tries to clinch up but Pacquiao circles away and keeps his distance.
Havel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pacquiao lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Havel is looking to clinch.

Pacquiao doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Pacquiao shoots in looking for a takedown. Havel tries to sprawl out of it but Pacquiao keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Havel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Havel scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Pacquiao circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pacquiao throws a jab when Havel was well out of range.
A jab lands there for Havel.
Havel has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Pacquiao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Havel ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Havel tries to clinch but Pacquiao moves out of range.
Havel scores with a punch to the head.
Havel is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Havel scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Havel defending well as Pacquiao loads up on a big left hand.
Havel cracks Pacquiao with a right hand to the side of the head.

and Havel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Havel lands a slapping body shot.
Pacquiao fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Pacquiao. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pacquiao shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Havel is trying to defend but Pacquiao finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Havel scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Pacquiao manages to mount him!

Havel is trying to stand up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Manny Pacquiao will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!


Pacquiao lands a body shot.
Pacquiao shoots for a double leg takedown but Havel sprawls well. He's pushed Pacquiao's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pacquiao shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Havel as he avoids it easily.
Havel jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Havel connects with a body shot.
Pacquiao lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Havel lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Pacquiao throws an overhand right that lands on Havel's shoulder, as Havel tries to avoid the shot.
Havel looks to land a right hand but Pacquiao moved out of range.
Havel swings for the body but Pacquiao moves out of range.

Havel clinches up against the cage.
Pacquiao lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pacquiao is looking to control Havel's arms but Havel gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pacquiao has his back to the cage.
Pacquiao struggles to land a body shot inside as Havel controls his hands.
Pacquiao goes for a takedown attempt but Havel pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Pacquiao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Havel stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Havel wants it to stay on the feet.
Pacquiao throws a combination that misses
and Havel counters with a nice body shot.

Pacquiao misses with an uppercut.
Havel connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pacquiao. Pacquiao circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Havel scores with a body shot.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Havel enables Pacquiao to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Havel manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Havel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pacquiao is controlling him.

Havel has his feet on Pacquiao's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Micheal Havel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Pacquiao takes a swing at Havel's ribcage but misses.

Havel stuffs the takedown.
Havel scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Havel cracks a nice hook into Pacquiao's ribs.
Pacquiao misses with a shot to the body
and Havel counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pacquiao looks to score with a jab to the body but Havel is just out of range.
Havel fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pacquiao misses with a body shot.
Pacquiao has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pacquiao there as he acknowledges the shot.
Pacquiao circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pacquiao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Havel sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Havel throws a good cross that connects.
Pacquiao takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pacquiao, as that shot connected.
A telegraphed right hand from Pacquiao misses the target.
Havel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pacquiao.
Pacquiao thows a body shot but no joy.

Havel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Pacquiao, pushing him back against the cage.
Havel lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Manny Pacquiao is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Havel throws a head punch that misses.
A right hand to the body from Havel.
Havel controlling the action here for a moment.
Havel tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Havel is struggling to control the position.
Havel misses with some punches.
A short right from Havel.
Good body shot from Havel.
Pacquiao drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Havel tries a body shot but Pacquiao blocks it.

And that's the end of the fight!
Micheal Havel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Pacquiao has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
