Striker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hustle Hard kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! PJ Penn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Striker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Penn cracks Striker with a big elbow.
Penn wants to control but Striker is keeping him busy.
Penn is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Striker will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Penn looks up at the clock and then as Striker takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Penn smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Striker tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Penn is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Striker's shoulder. That is not cool.
Striker throwing some weak shots from the bottom that do no damage.
Striker prevents Penn from improving position.
Striker is looking to reverse the position.
Striker is trying to control Penn's posture but Penn avoids it.
Penn works to advance to full mount. Striker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Penn controlling his opponent.
Penn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee warns Striker that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Striker tries to reverse the position but Penn maintains control.
Penn lands a nice shot to the head.
Penn controlling the pace for now.
Striker wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Penn breaks from Striker's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Penn wants to finish this one by submission but Striker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Penn.

It looks like John Striker has been cut.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Penn cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The cut above John Striker's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Penn lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

John Striker's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Striker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
