Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Istok Stanojevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse Hise (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanojevic comes to the cage accompanied by You've Got a Killer Scene There, Man. Hise has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. Jesse Hise will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Istok Stanojevic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jesse Hise!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanojevic shoots for a takedown but Hise saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Hise tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stanojevic paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hise misses with a takedown
and Stanojevic counters with a single leg into guard. Hise didn't expect that.
Stanojevic slips nicely into half guard.
Stanojevic is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hise doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stanojevic.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hise blocking the ground and pound attempt from Stanojevic.
Stanojevic is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hise wants to improve his position but Stanojevic is controlling well.

Hise controls Stanojevic momentarily but Stanojevic frees himself.

Hise is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Stanojevic is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Stanojevic gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Hise lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Stanojevic dodges an elbow strike from Hise.
Stanojevic digs a right hand into Hise's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Hise's gas tank.

and Stanojevic counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Stanojevic.
Hise tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hise drags the fight down to the ground.

Stanojevic slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Hise misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Stanojevic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Stanojevic tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Stanojevic has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hise is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Stanojevic has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Hise is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Stanojevic misses with the ground and pound.
Stanojevic has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Hise is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Stanojevic yanks on the arm and Hise is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Stanojevic.
