The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Smartman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Singson sees it coming and defends easily.
Smartman is nestled in close to Singson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Smartman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Singson uses from the top position.
