The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dakel tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. slachtmes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
slachtmes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Dakel rushes slachtmes and presses him up against the cage.
Dakel lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Dakel has slachtmes pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. slachtmes is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dakel - that's hurt slachtmes badly! Oh, another knee lands and slachtmes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but slachtmes doesn't seem to be complaining.
