Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kwan Kaya!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Murry Kline!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaya tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kline sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaya somewhat.
Kaya misses with the combination.
A swing and a miss from Kline.
Kaya scores with a decent looking hook.

Kaya darts in and clinches Kline up against the cage.
Kline tries to break free but Kaya pushes him back against the cage.
Kline fails to pull guard.
Kline jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kaya walks away with a smile on his face. Kline gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Kaya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kline manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Kline is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kaya defends well.
Kline looks gassed!
Kaya throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kline works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Kaya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kline on the ground.

Kline keeping moving, preventing Kaya from controlling successfully.
Kaya throws and elbow that misses. Kline uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kaya's guard. Nice move by Kline!
Kaya wants to sweep but no luck.
Kline postures up.
Kaya is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kline trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kaya's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Kaya is pulling down on Kline's head. It's preventing any offense from Kline, at least for the moment.
Kaya throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Kaya is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Kaya trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Kaya wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kwan Kaya.

Kaya closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kaya has hold of one of Kline's legs. Kline is fighting the takedown attempt but Kaya gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kaya accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Kaya is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kline takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kline moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Kaya closes the distance and clinches.
Kline fails to pull guard.
Kline tries to pull guard but Kaya won't allow it.
Kline is trying to force a seperation but Kaya has the dominant position.
Kaya wants a takedown but no success here.
Kaya can't break the clinch.
Kline tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kaya smiles and moves away.
Kwan Kaya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Murry Kline.
Kaya tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kaya.
Murry Kline seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kaya goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Kwan Kaya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Kaya scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kline is refusing to be controlled, as Kaya sits in half guard.
Kline wants to get back to his feet.
Kaya wants to free his trapped foot but Kline is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Kline is trying to stand up here but Kaya is controlling him well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kaya not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Kaya takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kaya scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Kaya shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kline manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Kaya is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Kline pushes Kaya off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Kline slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kline takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Kaya drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kline on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Kaya working the body and head with strikes.
Kline can't do much from the bottom here.
Kaya is working Kline over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kline takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Kline is pushing Kaya's head away, looking to escape. Kaya manages to hold on to the position though.
Kline dodges the ground and pound from Kaya.
Kline is trying to buck Kaya off.
Kaya misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Kaya in side control, throwing shots but Kline defends.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Kaya looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Kaya looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kline with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kwan Kaya dominated that second round.
That's time! Kaya's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Kaya tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kline paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Kaya is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kaya bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kline loads up on a big right hand but Kaya slips the punch.
Kaya misses with a series of wild punches.
Kaya swinging wildly here.
Kaya fails to land with a series of punches.
Kaya tries to clinch up.
Kaya tries to clinch but Kline moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kline lands with an uppercut that bounces Kaya off the cage and back into rage.
Kline throws a shot from downtown. Kaya moves away and avoids it.
Kaya throws a combination. Kline tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Kaya shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kaya was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kaya trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Kaya working the ground and pound effectively.
Kaya putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Kline regains half guard.
Kaya content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Kaya thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kline's head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Kaya lands strikes from half guard.
Kaya trying to mount his opponent but Kline defends it.

Kline makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Kaya tries to free his leg and advance position but Kline is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kline looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Kaya loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Kaya slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Kaya throws a big right hand that misses.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kwan Kaya showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Kaya has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
