Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Drury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Einar Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drury comes to the cage accompanied by The lonely Island - I just had sex . Einar Lee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mick Drury!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Einar Lee!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drury jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Drury thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Drury has his takedown stuffed

and Lee counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Drury throws a head punch that misses.
Lee scores with a shoulder strike.
Lee lands a nice elbow.
Lee is working Drury over against the cage.
Lee taking a breather.
Drury tries for a takedown but Lee manages to get underhooks.
Lee with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Drury looking to score a takedown here. Lee is defending well but Drury drives through and ends up in Lee's guard.

Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Drury is controlling him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Drury has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Drury throws a strike but Lee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Drury looking to control.
Lee wants to stand but Drury has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Drury looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there.
Drury is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Drury tries to pass the half guard into mount. Lee knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Drury thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Lee to regain full guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Drury pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now.
Lee seems keen to control Drury's posture.
Lee can't keep his opponent in guard - Drury advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Drury wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee tries to kick Drury off but Drury keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Drury trying to pass the guard but Lee defending well.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Drury missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Lee keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lee looks like he's trying to stand up.
Drury wants to pass to mount but Lee is defending the position.
Drury thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head.
Drury works his way into full mount!
Drury thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Lee suckers Drury into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Lee is now in Drury's guard!
Drury bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard.
Lee has his hands on Drury's head, controlling the position.

Lee pushes Drury off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Lee takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Lee needs to keep his hands up - Drury had a free shot at his head there.
Drury throws a poor cross that misses
and Lee counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Drury clobbers Lee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Drury checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lee takes a jab right on the kisser.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Einar Lee will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Drury shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lee as he avoids it easily.
Drury avoids the body shot from Lee.
Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lee throws a head kick that misses.
Lee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Drury.
Einar Lee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Drury scores with a jab to the body.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Drury to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Drury trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Drury drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lee!

Drury is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lee off and has taken his back!

I really don't envy Lee right now.
Drury misses with punches from the back.
Lee tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Lee fails to land with a series of punches.
Lee tries to clinch up but Drury circles away and keeps his distance.
Drury takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lee on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Lee with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Drury to score with a decent uppercut.
Drury punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch.
Drury misses the shot to the body.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Drury moves away.
No luck for Drury with that takedown attempt.
Lee tries to clinch but Drury is having none of it.
Drury swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Lee counters with a nice body kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Drury. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.
Drury throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lee uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Drury.

Nice defenses there by Lee.

Drury closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Drury getting side control.
Drury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Drury is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Drury eventually gives up the hold.

Drury wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lee keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
Lee wants to get back to full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Drury lands with a shot to the body.
Drury swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A punch combination from Drury misses.
Drury will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lee moves into the clinch.

Lee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lee forces Drury back against the cage and clinches.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lee wants to slow Drury down by chopping away at his legs.
Drury has his takedown stuffed

and Lee counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mick Drury.
I think Drury has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
