Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Henri Tw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savinay Pillavino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pillavino has chosen Tere Bina as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tw uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Pillavino.
Tw takes one on the chin but seems OK.

It looks like Henri Tw has been cut.
Pillavino tries for a takedown but Tw circles away easily

and Tw counters with a single leg into guard. Pillavino didn't expect that.

Tw drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pillavino dives on top into guard.
Pillavino loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Tw is looking to stand up but Pillavino isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pillavino postures up in Tw's guard and throws a big left but Tw blocks it.
Tw wants to stand and escape but Pillavino is having none of it.

Pillavino drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tw dives on top into guard.

Tw has gone for a leg lock! Pillavino slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tw's guard.
Tw wants to get back to his feet but Pillavino is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pillavino trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Tw wants to stand but Pillavino is controlling the position.
Pillavino trying to control but Tw is working from the bottom.

Tw has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pillavino off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Savinay Pillavino seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tw moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Pillavino manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tw on his heels. He'll look to pass Tw's guard now, I'm sure.
Pillavino tries to free his leg and advance position but Tw is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pillavino accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Pillavino drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pillavino jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tw is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Tw wants to get back to his feet but Pillavino passes into half guard.

Pillavino is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tw sees it coming and defends easily.

Pillavino winds up and cracks Tw with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Tw tries to kick Pillavino off but Pillavino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Pillavino wants to work for an arm triangle but Tw is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tw pushes Pillavino off looking to stand but Pillavino dives back in and keeps control.
Tw is breathing heavily.
Pillavino landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Pillavino prevents Tw from standing back up.

Pillavino is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pillavino looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Pillavino seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tw does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Pillavino is trying to control. Tw wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Pillavino is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Tw!

Pillavino has control of Tw's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tw regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Tw is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Pillavino jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tw manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Tw explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Tw uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Pillavino.
Pillavino throws an off balance right hand

and Tw counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pillavino won't be happy with that.

Tw is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Pillavino is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tw has hold of Pillavino's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Pillavino tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Tw cranks the arm and Pillavino screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Pillavino, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
