Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rossi has chosen Burning Down the House as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Eddie Robinson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Eddie Robinson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rossi swings for the body but Robinson moves out of range.

Robinson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rossi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Robinson has managed to get both his arms back between Rossi's legs - danger averted.

Rossi is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Robinson defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Robinson is looking to stand up but Rossi won't let him.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Robinson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rossi, up you get!

Rossi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Robinson tries to bum rush Rossi with a series of wild strikes but Rossi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rossi's corner calls for a 1-2. Rossi obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rossi loads up on a big right hand but Robinson slips the punch.

Rossi pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rossi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Rossi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Robinson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Robinson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rossi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rossi throws a solid leg kick but Robinson takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Rossi.

Robinson stuns Rossi with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Rossi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Robinson finds it's way round the side to connect with Rossi's head.
Robinson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rossi swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Rossi counters with a head kick. That will keep Robinson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Robinson connects with a nice cross there... Rossi is looking wobbly and Robinson recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Rossi to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Robinson jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
