Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Echo Echo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Pawter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Echo Echo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Pawter!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Echo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Echo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pawter swivels and escapes.

Pawter closes the distance and pushes Echo back into the cage.
Echo tries a knee to the head but Pawter blocks it.
Pawter pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Echo goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pawter prevents it.

Echo is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Pawter pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Echo tries to pull guard but Pawter won't allow it.
Echo is trying to drag Pawter to the mat but Pawter just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Pawter is nestled in close to Echo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pawter thows a huge punch but Echo dodges it nicely.

Pawter seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Echo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Robert Pawter hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Pawter has picked Echo up - he's going for a ride! Pawter dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Pawter slips a nice elbow through Echo's hands, connecting with Echo's forehead.

Pawter is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Echo doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Pawter.

Echo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pawter pulls his head out easily.

Pawter stands up out of the half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pawter displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Echo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Echo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pawter pulls his leg out and moves away.
Echo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pawter as he avoids it easily.
Echo shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pawter pinned against the cage. Pawter gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Pawter closes the distance and pushes Echo back into the cage.

Pawter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pawter lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Robert Pawter.

Echo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Echo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pawter has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on Pawter's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Pawter parries the strikes from Echo easily there. Echo is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pawter to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Echo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Pawter tries to escape but Echo is in control.

Robert Pawter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Pawter has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
