Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buff Bagwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Red Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fox is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Sanford and Son. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fox stuffs the takedown.
Fox staying out of range there.
Fox takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bagwell shoots for a double leg takedown but Fox sprawls well. He's pushed Bagwell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fox looks to land a left hand but Bagwell moved out of range nicely.
Fox throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bagwell thows a body shot but no joy.
Bagwell tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Fox swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buff Bagwell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fox rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bagwell moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fox wants to clinch up but Bagwell keeps it at a distance.
Fox throws a sloppy body shot
and Bagwell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Bagwell checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Fox looks to throw the jab but Bagwell is out of range.

Fox misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bagwell.
Fox fails in his attempt to clinch.
Fox tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bagwell swats him away and circles back towards the center.

and Bagwell makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Fox closes the distance but Bagwell moves to the side
and Bagwell counters with a straight right hand.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Bagwell drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fox is looking for a sweep.
Fox is trying to control Bagwell's posture but Bagwell avoids it.
Fox tries to buck Bagwell off but Bagwell is having none of it.
Bagwell working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
You can see the frustration on Fox's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bagwell in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Fox is looking to regain half guard here but Bagwell keeps moving and retains side control.

Bagwell wants to control but Fox is keeping him busy.
Bagwell has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fox is looking for a sweep.
Fox managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Bagwell.
Fox can't do much from the bottom here.
You can see the frustration on Fox's face as Bagwell controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

and Bagwell counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bagwell wants to work for an arm triangle but Fox is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fox is looking to improve his position.
Fox gets full guard.
Bagwell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Fox is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bagwell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Bagwell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Fox is trying to control the position but Bagwell postures up.
Fox is adopting a defensive guard.
Fox manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fox looking to control and managing it successfully.
Fox looking to control but Bagwell is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Fox prevents Bagwell from getting the reversal.
Fox tries to control but Bagwell wriggling away.
Fox is landing with some decent strikes but Bagwell is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bagwell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Bagwell is working hard here to advance position.
Fox trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bagwell blocking the ground and pound.
Fox can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bagwell is looking to escape.
Bagwell is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Bagwell tries to lock up and control but Fox gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Fox wants to control the pace but Bagwell is squirming around nicely.
Bagwell regains half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Bagwell is trying to get back to full guard.
Bagwell is trying to control but can't.
Bagwell is staying active underneath Fox, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Red Fox has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Fox lands a glancing blow to the side of Bagwell's head.


Bagwell is rocked!
Fox misses with a two punch combination.
Oh Bagwell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fox drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bagwell's head, knocking him out cold! Fox is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Red Fox!
