PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Red Rocket (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Q Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocket comes to the cage accompanied by Riot Time- Powerman 5000. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jackson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rocket is pushing Jackson's head away, looking to escape. Jackson manages to hold on to the position though.

Rocket bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and Jackson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rocket!
Jackson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Rocket can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Rocket suckers Jackson into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Rocket is now in Jackson's guard!

Rocket stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Jackson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Rocket regains guard immediately.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rocket is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Rocket keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully.
Jackson connects with a couple of short punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Rocket changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Rocket decides to stand back up. Rocket steps back and let's Jackson get back to his feet.

Jackson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jackson seems to have locked his on tight now - Rocket screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jackson, as he picks up the win!
