Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rich Convex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Naylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Naylor has chosen Rocky The Nice Man Naylor as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naylor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Convex is fending him off so far but Naylor persists. Nope, Convex circles away and we're back to standing.
Convex moves out of range as Naylor throws a body kick.
Naylor shoots in looking for a takedown. Convex tries to sprawl out of it but Naylor keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Convex manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Naylor tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Convex paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Naylor fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rich Convex has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Naylor.
Naylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Convex but Convex pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Naylor should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Naylor shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Convex but Convex pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Naylor closes the distance and clinches up with Convex, looking for a takedown. Naylor pushes Convex against the cage but Convex circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Naylor shoots in for a takedown but Convex shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Convex is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Naylor is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Naylor has escaped and now he's on top!
Convex will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Convex is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Naylor defends well.
Naylor controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Convex looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Naylor has picked Convex up and slammed him! Convex can't keep hold of the triangle and Naylor manages to pass to side control!
Naylor wants to control but Convex is keeping him busy.

Convex tries to buck Naylor off but Naylor is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Naylor wants to control but Convex is keeping him busy.

Naylor looking to control but instead Convex has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Naylor is just content to waste time from the top position. Convex takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Convex keeping moving, preventing Naylor from controlling successfully.
Naylor looking to sit in guard and control but Convex gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Convex slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Convex looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Convex wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Naylor, who protects the arm well.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Naylor has eaten all the pies!

Convex is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Naylor is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Convex goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Naylor has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Convex but great work by Naylor.
Convex manages to work his way to half guard, despite Naylor's best efforts.
Naylor wants to control but Convex is keeping him busy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
