Shaw doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Bacon drops Shaw with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shaw looks back up at him and smiles so Bacon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
