Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Kennedy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karsten Hemler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hemler has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Karsten Hemler is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karsten Hemler!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kennedy moves in looking to clinch but Hemler pushes him off.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Hemler has hold of Kennedy's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Kennedy manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Hemler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kennedy tries to avoid it but Hemler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kennedy to the ground. Kennedy escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kennedy lands a hook that stumbles Hemler back into the cage. Kennedy follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Hemler to the canvas! Kennedy pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Hemler has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
