Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Migashi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pyotr Kalashnikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pyotr Kalashnikov!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalashnikov throws a looping overhand right but Migashi ducks down to avoid it.
Migashi tries a head kick but it misses.

Kalashnikov throws a right and a left that Migashi avoids nicely.
Migashi is looking to clinch but Kalashnikov is avoiding it.

Pyotr Kalashnikov is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The fight stays on the outside here - Migashi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kalashnikov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Migashi - the referee stops the clock and Kalashnikov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Migashi. Kalashnikov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Kalashnikov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Migashi has got the better of the exchanges.
