Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Emanuel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Cristos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cristos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cypress Hill - Hand on the Pump kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cristos uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Emanuel.
Emanuel tries to clinch there but Cristos circles away.
Cristos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Jab, jab by Emanuel - just one landing.
Cristos avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Emanuel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A low kick from Emanuel is predictable there
and Cristos counters with a thumping low kick.
Emanuel misses the jab.
Emanuel throws a looping overhand right but Cristos ducks down to avoid it.
Emanuel ducks under a wild hook from Cristos.
Cristos lands a jab to the nose.

Emanuel tries to work over Cristos's front leg with a kick but Cristos checks it.

and Emanuel takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Emanuel looks to throw the jab but Cristos is out of range.
A left lands for Emanuel.

Emanuel closes the distance but Cristos moves to the side
and Cristos counters with a nice uppercut.
Martin Cristos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cristos tries to work over Emanuel's front leg with a kick but Emanuel checks it.

Cristos scores with a crisp jab that stopped Emanuel in his tracks.
Cristos ducks under a wild hook from Emanuel.
Emanuel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Cristos.

Emanuel takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Cristos keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Emanuel gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Matthew Emanuel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cristos moves into range and connects with a jab.
Cristos throws a series of strikes that have Emanuel backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A lazy left from Cristos finds it's target.
Emanuel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cristos counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cristos lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Emanuel darts in trying to clinch
and Cristos counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Emanuel will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Emanuel misses with a body punch

and Cristos counters with a crisp one two that drops Emanuel! Cristos thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Emanuel to his feet! Emanuel is in big trouble!

Emanuel is rocked!
Emanuel walks straight into a right hand from Cristos - that's dropped him! Cristos jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Emanuel from any more punishment! Emanuel complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
