Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Procheck scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Procheck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Procheck wants to control but Granger is keeping him busy.
Procheck working away.
Granger tries to buck Procheck off but Procheck is having none of it.
Procheck in side control lands a decent elbow.
Procheck scores with a couple of short elbows.
Granger gets back to half guard.
Procheck looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Granger is trying to stand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Granger is not content to let Procheck control the position.
Granger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Procheck is working away from the top position though.
Procheck is trying to control the action in half guard but Granger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Granger manages to get to full guard.

Granger is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Procheck is aware though and is defending well.

Procheck trying to control the position from guard on top but Granger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Granger has his foot on Procheck's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Procheck works his way back into a safe position though.
Procheck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Granger on the ground.

Granger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Procheck defends it easily.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

We're going to have a standup here because Richard Procheck wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Granger takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Granger misses with a two punch combination.
Procheck loads up on a big right hand but Granger slips the punch.
A swing and a miss from Procheck.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Procheck missing with a left hand there. Granger was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Granger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Procheck getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Procheck closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Procheck in particular looking to stall.

Granger is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Procheck is tapping! Great win for Granger!
