Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Skwisgaar Skwigelf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Esperanza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Skwigelf comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodrocuted. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Esperanza closes the distance and clinches.
Esperanza misses with an elbow over the top.
Esperanza keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Skwigelf's efforts to push away.
Esperanza landing knees to the head.

It looks like Skwisgaar Skwigelf has been cut.
Esperanza throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Skwigelf blocks it with crossed arms.
Esperanza throws an elbow that misses.
Esperanza lands a body shot in the clinch.
Skwigelf is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Skwigelf is looking to control Esperanza's arms but Esperanza gets an underhook and turns him. Now Skwigelf has his back to the cage.

Skwigelf manages to break the clinch.
Skwigelf darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Skwigelf just misses with a punch to the body.
Esperanza is looking to clinch.
Esperanza throws a looping overhand right but Skwigelf ducks down to avoid it.
Skwigelf swats away the attempt to clinch by Esperanza.
Skwigelf avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Esperanza moves in looking to clinch but Skwigelf pushes him off.
Skwigelf punishes Esperanza's body with a nice straight punch.
Skwigelf feints and then cracks Esperanza's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Esperanza down.
Esperanza shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Skwigelf as he jumps to the side.

Esperanza gets a clinch.

Skwigelf breaks the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Esperanza moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Esperanza with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Skwigelf to score with a decent uppercut.
Skwigelf throws a series of punches but Esperanza avoids them all with ease.
Esperanza tries to clinch but Skwigelf moves out of range.
Skwigelf digs a good hook to Esperanza's body.
Esperanza looks gassed!
Skwigelf throws a jab but it's blocked by Esperanza.
Skwigelf lands a nice leg kick that just misses Esperanza's sensitive parts.

Skwigelf tries a head kick but it misses.
Esperanza takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Esperanza tries to clinch but Skwigelf is having none of it.
Skwigelf changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Skwigelf lands a left and a right that send Esperanza crashing to the mat, dazed. Skwigelf thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Skwigelf tried to score with a low kick but Esperanza checks it.
Skwigelf misses with a leg kick.
Esperanza has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Skwigelf finds it's way round the side to connect with Esperanza's head.

Esperanza is rocked!
Skwigelf fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Esperanza to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Esperanza looks to clinch but Skwigelf throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Esperanza taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
