Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Truan Mehl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Redcap (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The ref stands the fighters back up. George Redcap was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Mehl rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Redcap moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Redcap is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Mehl's half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Redcap connects with a nice short shot to Mehl's temple.

Mehl is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Redcap to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Redcap can do anything to dispel that myth.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Truan Mehl.
