Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Thurston Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Peezy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peezy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Majin Buu Theme Song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Thurston Moore has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Moore - just one landing.
Moore misses with a two punch combination.
Peezy swings for the body but Moore moves out of range.
Peezy tries to land a front kick but Moore steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Peezy throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Peezy throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease.

Peezy shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Moore swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moore wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Moore crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Peezy - the referee stops the clock and Moore gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Peezy. Moore manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Moore's corner calls for a 1-2. Moore obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

No joy there for Peezy, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Moore drops Peezy with a beautiful combination! Peezy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Moore is looking for the KO!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Thurston Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peezy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Moore darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Peezy throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.

Moore throws the kick towards the body but Peezy avoids it.
Moore really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A decent looking cross lands there for Moore.

Moore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Peezy is still on wobbly legs! Can Moore finish him?
Moore throws a series of punches but Peezy avoids them all with ease.
Peezy seems to have recovered his senses.
Peezy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moore.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Peezy. Moore shrugs it off though.

Moore cracks Peezy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Moore is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Moore cracks Peezy with a hook to the temple - Peezy is on wobbly legs here! Moore swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Peezy falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Moore wins by TKO!
