Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristof Nikitin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nikitin comes into the arena with Hey Man, Nice Shot blaring out of the sound system. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nikitin takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Kristof Nikitin has been cut.

Nikitin throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Schmidt was covering up waiting for the punch and Nikitin finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Nikitin tries to free his leg and advance position but Schmidt is retaining full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Schmidt is looking for a triangle but Nikitin pushes his legs off easily.

Schmidt tries to clinch but Nikitin moves out of range.
Schmidt scores with a sloppy right hand. Nikitin should have avoided that one.

Nikitin closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Schmidt did well to prevent Nikitin getting side control.
