Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacek Szpaczynski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard Mckenny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Mckenny!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mckenny or perhaps it was just good defense by Szpaczynski which made him look bad.
Szpaczynski feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Szpaczynski wants to control from the top but Mckenny keeps moving.
Mckenny has his foot on Szpaczynski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Szpaczynski works his way back into a safe position though.
Mckenny being controlled here, momentarily.
Mckenny is trying to keep Szpaczynski in close.
Szpaczynski is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Mckenny has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Szpaczynski is looking to defend but Mckenny has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Szpaczynski! Mckenny pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Szpaczynski taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Richard Mckenny!
