The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Poporov was well out of range. Poor timing from Santos.
Poporov on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Santos throws a looping overhand right but Poporov ducks down to avoid it.
Santos throws an overhand right that lands on Poporov's shoulder, as Poporov tries to avoid the shot.
Poporov keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

and Santos counters with a two punch combo.
Santos lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Poporov doesn't succeed with the takedown

Santos lands with a big left! Poporov is wobbled badly! Santos comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Poporov to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
