Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vilo Charo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Wiles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Charo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wiles manages to avoid it.
Vilo Charo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Wiles wants to control but Charo is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Wiles avoids a punch combination nicely.
Wiles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The fighters circling - Charo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

That's time! Charo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Charo takes a swing at Wiles's ribcage but misses.
Wiles lands with a slapping head kick.
Wiles changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Charo tries to avoid it but Wiles manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Charo to the ground. Charo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Charo digs a good body shot into Wiles's ribs.
Wiles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Charo as he jumps to the side.

No joy there for Charo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wiles bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wiles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Vilo Charo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Charo misses with a series of wild punches.
Wiles scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Charo looks to land a right hand but Wiles moved out of range.

Charo misses with an uppercut. Wiles saw that one coming.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Wiles looks to land a combination. Charo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Wiles darts in and clinches Charo up against the cage.
Wiles is pushing Charo up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Wiles's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Charo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Wiles counters with a left to the body.

Wiles decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Wiles thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Wiles is keen to just control but Charo is a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wiles might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Charo kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Charo is trying to stand up here but Wiles is controlling him well.

Max Wiles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Charo avoids a punch combination nicely.

Wiles feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

and Charo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Charo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Wiles counters with a solid body kick.
Wiles throws a front kick that sends Charo stumbling back into the cage.

Charo tries to sprawl but Wiles drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Wiles is keen to just control but Charo is a slippery customer.
Charo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Wiles looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Max Wiles comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wiles has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
