Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Don Marsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Flipper Gill!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gill blocks a jab.
Gill lands with an overhand left.
Gill misses with a body shot.
Marsh dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Marsh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gill was well out of range. Poor timing from Marsh.
Marsh misses with an uppercut.
Marsh cracks Gill with a good jab.
Marsh misses with a jab, cross combination.
Don Marsh seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gill throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Marsh on the side of the head.
Gill drops his hands momentarily and Marsh takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

A jab-cross combination lands for Gill and sends Marsh crashing to the mat! Gill follows him down to the mat - Marsh regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Marsh has one foot on Gill's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Marsh takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Don Marsh will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

No joy there for Marsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
