Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Zing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanley Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Graves lands a leg kick that knocks Zing off balance momentarily.
Zing checks a leg kick nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for Graves.
Graves thumps Zing with a low kick.

Zing changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Graves looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Zing lands a decent elbow from side control.
Graves dodges the ground and pound from Zing.
Graves is trying to control Zing's posture but Zing avoids it.
Zing throws a strike aimed at the side of Graves's head but Graves avoids it well.
Graves tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Zing wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Zing in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Graves is looking to reverse the position.
Graves takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Graves takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Zing throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Zing lands a decent elbow from side control.
Zing is chipping away with strikes.
Zing landing strikes.
Zing looks up at the clock and then as Graves takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Zing smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Zing sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Graves is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Zing throws a strike aimed at the side of Graves's head but Graves avoids it well.
Zing postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Graves looking for a sweep but Zing has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Graves looks gassed!

Zing has control of Graves's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Graves regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Zing working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zing scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Zing tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
