The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rijuo looks to land a combination but Balada avoids it well.
Rijuo tries to bum rush Balada with a series of wild strikes but Balada uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rijuo scores with a hook.

It looks like Tony Balada has been cut.
Rijuo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Rijuo misses with a few strikes there.
Rijuo blocks a jab.
Balada avoids a punch combination nicely.
Balada throws a hook but Rijuo avoids it easily.
Balada fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rijuo connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Balada tumbling to the canvas! Rijuo pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Balada was done - good stoppage!
