Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tao Bugs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Man Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Man Ray was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Bugs as Ray shoots in.
Ray slips under a jab.
Tao Bugs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ray should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Bugs uses his free foot to push down on Ray's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ray.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ray is trying to escape the mount.
Ray tries to lock up and control but Bugs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Ray is looking to improve his position but Bugs isn't that keen on the idea.
Ray is squirming around, avoiding Bugs's attempts to control the action.

Bugs tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Bugs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bugs shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ray's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bugs knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ray on the ground.

Tao Bugs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Ray is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Bugs is defending well though. Ray let's go of the attempt for now.

I would just about give that final round to Man Ray.
Well Bugs has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
