Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kick Ass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Zodiac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kick Ass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jordan Zodiac!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ass throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zodiac.
Zodiac scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Zodiac sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ass defending well though.
Zodiac is working for a kimura but Ass is defending it quite comfortably.
Zodiac looks to land a strike but Ass avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Zodiac controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Ass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zodiac on the ground.

Zodiac drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ass looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ass looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ass!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zodiac is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Ass is controlling him well.
Zodiac trying to control but Ass flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zodiac tries to break free.
Zodiac has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Zodiac is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.

Ass misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ass lands a nice leg kick that just misses Zodiac's sensitive parts.
Ass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zodiac sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Ass moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Ass looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ass.
Kick Ass is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ass throws a right hand that Zodiac ducks under and follows up with a left that Zodiac also avoids with ease.

Zodiac dives in and grabs Ass's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ass pushes down on Zodiac's head and hops out.

Ass throws a jab but it's blocked by Zodiac.
Ass fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A left and a right from Ass both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zodiac takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Zodiac fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ass avoids it really well and circles away.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Zodiac fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ass tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zodiac uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ass.
Zodiac feints and as Ass raises his hands in defense, Zodiac changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Zodiac throws and elbow that misses. Ass uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Zodiac's guard. Nice move by Ass!
Zodiac is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Ass tries to break free but Zodiac pushes him back against the cage.
Ass wants to break the clinch but can't.
Zodiac is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ass gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kick Ass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jordan Zodiac.

Zodiac shoots in looking for a takedown. Ass tries to sprawl out of it but Zodiac keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ass manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Zodiac takes one on the chin but seems OK.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Ass cracks Zodiac with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Ass throws a head kick but Zodiac moves out of range.
Ass throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Zodiac's head.

Ass tries a head kick but it misses.
Zodiac fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ass sprawls well initially but Zodiac persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Zodiac connects with a nice short shot to Ass's temple.

Zodiac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Zodiac wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ass keeps working.
Zodiac thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ass's head.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zodiac lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zodiac pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
