Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Alzado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Georges Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alzado's entrance music is BLUNT- The Iron Maiden. A fine choice. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lyle Alzado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Georges Pierre!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alzado closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alzado lands in his opponent's guard.
Alzado tries to free his leg and advance position but Pierre is retaining full guard.

Pierre has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alzado can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Alzado postures up in Pierre's guard and throws a big left but Pierre blocks it.

Pierre is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Alzado lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Alzado might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Pierre has momentary wrist control but Alzado slips an elbow through the middle.

Pierre is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pierre wants to sweep but no luck.
Alzado looking to pass the guard.

Pierre pushes Alzado off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

and Alzado counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pierre looks gassed!
Alzado is nestled in close to Pierre, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Alzado passes to full mount!
Alzado wants to control the pace but Pierre is squirming around nicely.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Alzado postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Pierre looks a forlorn figure.

Pierre is still in real trouble! Can Alzado finish him?
Alzado looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Pierre covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
