Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stephan Bonnar!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Kamahata enables Bonnar to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kamahata manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Bonnar avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Bonnar wants to control from the top but Kamahata keeps moving.

Kamahata has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bonnar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Kamahata is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bonnar lands a couple of decent looking shots.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Kamahata is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bonnar got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kamahata has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bonnar has managed to get both his arms back between Kamahata's legs - danger averted.

Bonnar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Kamahata has hold of Bonnar's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bonnar manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Kamahata wants to finish this one by submission but Bonnar is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kamahata.
Kamahata wants to control the pace but Bonnar is squirming around nicely.

Bonnar has left one of his arms exposed and Kamahata doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bonnar screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
