Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Quintin Quad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michel Rodalgo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rodalgo has chosen Ace of Spades - By Motorhead as his entrance music. Michel Rodalgo is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Michel Rodalgo!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quad closes the distance and clinches up with Rodalgo, looking for a takedown. Quad pushes Rodalgo against the cage but Rodalgo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Quad throws a jab when Rodalgo was well out of range.

Rodalgo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Rodalgo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Quad doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Rodalgo.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rodalgo throws a strike but Quad avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Rodalgo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Quad is proving hard to escape from.
Rodalgo stays in close to Quad's body and controls the position.
Rodalgo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Quad swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rodalgo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Rodalgo is trying to control the action in half guard but Quad is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Rodalgo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Michel Rodalgo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Rodalgo connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Rodalgo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rodalgo lands a big shot there that rocks Quad but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
