Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Just (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wesley Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Just comes to the cage accompanied by Big Time by: Peter Gabriel. Peter Just is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter Just!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wesley Snow!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow misses the jab.
Snow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Just moves out of range as Snow strikes.
Just is looking to score with low kicks.
Just tries to close the distance and clinch but Snow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Just throws a leg kick but Snow sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Just changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Snow tries to avoid it but Just manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Snow to the ground. Snow escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fighters circle momentarily. Snow darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Just moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Just tries to land a leg kick but Snow saw it coming and moves away.
Just tried to score with a low kick but Snow checks it.
Snow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Just is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Snow is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Just is controlling him.
Just stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Snow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Snow has momentary wrist control but Just slips an elbow through the middle.
Snow wants to stand and escape but Just is having none of it.
Just missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Snow pushes Just off and gets back to his feet.

Snow is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Just had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Snow checks a leg kick.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

Snow is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Just has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Just happy to just control the position for now.
Just wants to control but Snow is keeping him busy.

A looping hook to the body misses from Snow. Just does a little dance to reset his feet.
Snow misses with a wild body shot.
Just looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Just keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Just slips a straight right by Snow.
Just has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Snow finds it's way round the side to connect with Just's head.

Snow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Just keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Just defending well as Snow loads up on a big left hand.
Just tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Snow is able to avoid easily.

Just forces Snow back against the cage and clinches.
Just has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Snow is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Just manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Snow breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Snow throws a shot from downtown. Just moves away and avoids it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Just throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Just closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Snow takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Snow is trying to buck Just off.
Just grinds an elbow into Snow's temple.
Snow is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Just lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Snow down.

Snow wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Just wants to lay and pray for a moment but Snow keeps working.
Just lands a nice forearm strike.

Just wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Snow, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Just trying to control the position but Snow is working away.

Snow is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Snow wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Just has him pressed against the cage.
Snow has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Just stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Peter Just.
I think Just has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
