The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort scores with a hook to the body. Vermillion takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Vermillion shoots in for a double leg but Belfort sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Vermillion shoots for a takedown but Belfort saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vermillion.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Vermillion. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vermillion shoots in for a double leg but Belfort sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Vermillion closes the distance and clinches up with Belfort, looking for a takedown. Vermillion pushes Belfort against the cage but Belfort circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Vermillion shoots in looking for a takedown. Belfort tries to sprawl out of it but Vermillion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Belfort manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Belfort lands a big right hand that sends Vermillion crashing to the mat! Belfort stays standing though and waves Vermillion back to his feet!

Vermillion tries to get into range but Belfort steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Vermillion! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Belfort scores the big KO victory!
